Why I don't feel dumb in an art museum but if you do, change is always an option

Seeing and reading "Never Feel Dumb in an Art Museum Again" (on LinkedIn), I was taken back in time.

I was fortunate enough to have a quality education at both the elementary and secondary level. In high school, I was the least fond of ballet and, following at a close second, art history; both courses were required - and if you didn't already know, yes, I went to a private school for girls, in the South.

I never warmed up to ballet and can only imagine how the same teacher handled the contrast when my taller, svelte sister -- already a dancer -- appeared her class seven years later. However, when I finally had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, I appreciated art history.
